The Jerusalem Post Ranks the Most Influential Jews in the World
The Israeli newspaper The Jerusalem Post has compiled a list of the world's most influential Jews, consisting of 52 names, with the top spot being occupied by Sam Altman, the CEO of American Open AI, the owner of the ChatGPT chatbot.
This year, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was notably not included in the list of the most influential Jews. The publication releases its annual ranking in connection with the Jewish New Year holiday, Rosh Hashanah, which is marked around this time.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu secured the second position, while U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken ranked third. Notably, the fourth position is held by leaders of the Israeli opposition movement, including Shikma Bresler, who speaks weekly at mass anti-government protests in Tel Aviv.
The list concludes with the late Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Russian Wagner Group, who was included “posthumously.” In total, the rankings feature 52 positions filled by Jewish political and public figures, scientists, and artists, residing both in Israel and abroad.
