Pashinyan's Team Writing Letters Abroad: What Risks Exist

The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports: "There is a looming threat over Nikol Pashinyan's government. This concern is echoed by both the authorities and the opposition, as well as broad segments of society. The source of this threat is not yet clear, but it is a fact that the opposition has expectations, while Pashinyan and his allies are filled with anxiety and fear. Meanwhile, the general public is awaiting news about who might replace whom in the near future.

According to information from the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper, Nikol Pashinyan has instructed all his associates (ministers, deputies, and other members of the party's governing body) to begin writing letters and calling international partners to inform them that the Russian Federation intends to carry out a regime change in Armenia, and that they are in need of assistance. In other words, Pashinyan is once again seeking support from the West while instilling fear that pro-Russian forces or figures may replace him in Armenia.

At this moment, his entire team is also engaged in writing letters and making calls alongside their campaign to gather votes, in order to explain to various capitals that Pashinyan's departure would mean an increase in the Russian Federation’s influence in Armenia. We have also learned that the diplomatic corps has been instructed to communicate through various channels to inform foreign governments about the threats looming over Pashinyan's administration."
