Preliminary Voting Data as of 21:00: CEC Chairman
The Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), Vahagn Hovakimyan, has released the number of voters who participated in the election. According to these figures, out of 824,250 voters, 234,553 participated, representing 28.46% of the electorate. 'This is the lowest turnout in Yerevan. I cannot recall such a low figure,' Hovakimyan stated.
It is worth noting that in the 2018 Yerevan municipal elections, the voter turnout was 43.65%, with 370,323 people participating.
The CEC has published the number of citizens who voted in the Yerevan municipal elections as of 20:00, broken down by administrative districts:
- In the Ajapnyak administrative district, out of 83,014 voters, 23,229 or 27.98% participated.
- In the Avan administrative district, out of 39,030 voters, 12,575 or 32.22% participated.
- In the Arabkir administrative district, out of 94,537 voters, 29,301 or 30.99% participated.
- In the Davtashen administrative district, out of 33,484 voters, 10,709 or 31.98% participated.
- In the Erebuni administrative district, out of 89,206 voters, 21,719 or 24.35% participated.
- In the Kentron administrative district, out of 94,922 voters, 28,714 or 30.25% participated.
- In the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district, out of 106,317 voters, 27,490 or 29.86% participated.
- In the Nor Nork administrative district, out of 97,497 voters, 28,889 or 29.63% participated.
- In the Nork-Marash administrative district, out of 10,667 voters, 3,314 or 31.07% participated.
- In the Nubarashen administrative district, out of 8,065 voters, 2,250 or 27.9% participated.
- In the Shengavit administrative district, out of 110,780 voters, 29,357 or 26.5% participated.
- In the Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district, out of 56,731 voters, 17,006 or 29.98% participated.
