Kim Jong Un Observes Fighter Jet Assembly Process in Russia
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has been acquainted with the engineering center and production workshops of an aircraft manufacturing plant located in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Russia, during his official visit. This information has been reported on the Russian government's website.
Kim Jong Un observed the process of assembly for fighter jets, as well as the final assembly workshops for Su-35 aircraft and the fifth-generation Su-57 aviation complex.
At the end of the visit, the leader of the DPRK and Russian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, watched a demonstration flight of the Su-35 multipurpose fighter jet.
It is noteworthy that Kim Jong Un arrived in Russia at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin. On September 13, Putin and Kim Jong Un held discussions at the Vostochny Cosmodrome, both with delegations and in one-on-one meetings.
Furthermore, Russia is the first country that Kim Jong Un has visited since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. In turn, Kim Jong Un has invited Vladimir Putin to visit North Korea.
