Gathering at the Renaissance Square in Stepanakert
A group of citizens gathered today at the Renaissance Square in Stepanakert to express their deep concern regarding the extremely difficult situation in Artsakh.
In an interview with Artsakhpress, participant and Hadrut Mayor Vahan Savadyan stated that every Artsakh resident is trying to cope with challenging trials, but the situation of the displaced people is significantly more severe at this moment. Most of them are unemployed but are forced to find ways to survive.
“People gathered in the square to understand who holds the answers to their questions, how to overcome upcoming challenges, and, ultimately, what awaits the people of Artsakh. The situation has escalated to the point where people no longer have the capacity to endure,” the interviewee emphasized.
According to him, an agreement has been reached between community leaders and those gathered in the square to meet with the President of the Republic of Artsakh on Monday and discuss the issues facing the population.
