Founder of Dasaran.am Website Arrested: Lawyer

The founder of the Dasaran.am website, Suren Aloyan, has been arrested on apparently baseless charges. This was reported by lawyer Levon Sahakyan.

He stated, "He is accused of having provided assistance to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia in a manner prescribed by law. A motion has been submitted to choose detention as a preventive measure. In the context of these absurd charges, if he is detained, thousands of participants in the 'Koriz' inter-school competition will also find themselves in deep despair."
