Collapse Occurs in One of the Houses in Sari Tagh
On September 15, at 10:00 AM, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a collapse had occurred in one of the houses on 18th Street in Sari Tagh, Yerevan (uninhabited); assistance was needed.
Emergency response teams from the Special Rescue Operations Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and operational groups from the National Crisis Management Center were dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that approximately 30 square meters of a 40-square-meter house and 15 square meters of an adjacent external wall had collapsed. Cracks of various sizes had appeared in the walls, and there was a risk of further collapse. Rescuers cordoned off the area. The information was passed on to a representative of the Armenian Urban Development Committee.
