US Analysts Indicate Ukraine Will Have to Conclude Counteroffensive by October
Ukraine will have to finish its counteroffensive by October. This was stated by Larry Johnson, a former analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency.
He noted that Kyiv's ability to maintain the combat readiness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is decreasing day by day. According to him, since June 1, the losses of the Ukrainian army have amounted to 77,000 personnel.
“When the weather changes, and it will change in October, troop movements will be reduced. But Russia will still have the opportunity to strike Ukrainian bases, fortifications, deployments, and infrastructure with missiles and bombs delivered by combat aircraft,” he explained.
Johnson added that even Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky acknowledges the failure of the counteroffensive.
