"Renovation of One Hall Costs 5 Million 345 Thousand Drams" - "Hraparak"
"The National Assembly is once again in a renovation phase, with a complete "remont" done and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for the hall of the Permanent Committee on State and Legal Issues. Three more similar halls, which serve the permanent committees and hold meetings, are set to be renovated as well. The furniture has also been updated.
This is reported by the newspaper "Hraparak." The publication has also learned from the National Assembly that the renovation and furnishing works of the halls have been carried out and will continue to be carried out with the budgetary funds of 2023, through allocations intended for ongoing renovations. The cost for the furnishing and renovation of one hall has amounted to 5 million 345 thousand drams, and it is assumed that nearly the same amount will be spent for the remaining three. The digitization has been implemented by the UN Development Program.
Specifically, this involves computers, screens, conference systems, microphones, servers, cameras, and their automatic control systems for the halls. It is noted that while previously there was only one fixed camera in these rooms that provided a general shot of the sessions for live broadcasts, now, after the new digitization, three cameras operate and display the speaking MPs in detail.
