Iran's Intelligence Discovers Grenade Manufacturing Workshop, Seizes 90 Prepared Grenades
Iran's security forces and intelligence have discovered a workshop for the production of hand grenades and stun grenades in the western province of Ilam. Approximately 90 prepared grenades have been seized. This was reported by RIA Novosti, referencing the IRNA news agency.
"Thanks to the efforts of the security and intelligence forces in Ilam, a workshop for the production of hand grenades and stun grenades was discovered this morning. A total of 87 prepared grenades and a large amount of raw materials were confiscated, along with items for writing slogans. The individual taken into custody has been referred to judicial authorities," the statement said.
Two days ago, the Minister of Intelligence of the Islamic Republic, Esmail Khâtib, announced that Iranian intelligence services had arrested more than 200 militants from March to September of this year, who were planning to carry out a series of terrorist attacks across Iran.
