Elmir Karapetyan Becomes World Shooting Cup Gold Medalist

Elmir Karapetyan, a member of the Armenian national shooting team, has become a gold medalist at the World Shooting Cup. In the women's 10-meter air pistol event taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Karapetyan secured the first position with a score of 236.6 points. Representatives from China took the second and third places.

Elmir Karapetyan is currently the only Armenian participant in the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
