Brawl and Gunshots in Yerevan: Relatives Taken to Hospital
On September 14, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 12:30 PM, the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report about a brawl in the yard of building No. 44 on Norashen street. This information was reported by Shamshyan.com.
At the scene, police officers and patrolmen discovered traces of blood and one cartridge from a firearm. The senior operative of the criminal investigation division of the Mashtots Police Department, Aram Aivazyan, found a Lada 110 brand car near the incident site, raising suspicions that this vehicle may be connected to the incident.
The police also determined that two individuals with stab wounds were taken to the “Armenia” medical center from the scene. Several citizens gathered at the location, who refused to speak on camera, stated: “An argument erupted, leading to a brawl during which gunshots were fired, and two individuals, who are relatives, were taken to the hospital by an ambulance.”
Law enforcement agencies are working to identify the injured individuals and determine the ownership of the discovered vehicle, as well as organizing efforts to clarify the circumstances of the incident, identify participants, and recover the weapon used in the crime.
