VIDEO: Sevastopol Under Rocket Attack, Casualties Reported
The city of Sevastopol in Crimea has been subjected to a rocket attack. This is reported by Kommersant.ru.
Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev stated that, according to preliminary data, a Ukrainian rocket attack occurred around 03:18. The air defense system has been activated.
As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in the Kilin-Balka area at a "non-civilian facility." Later, the governor clarified that the fire had occurred in the southern part of the Sevastopol marine factory, and 24 people were injured.
“All necessary emergency services are working on-site,” he said, urging the public to remain calm. Kilin-Balka is located in Sevastopol's Nakhimovsky district. Nearby is a bay and the 13th repair plant of the Black Sea Navy.
