VIDEO: Mine Collapse in Northern Turkey Results in Fatality

A mine collapse in northern Turkey has resulted in the death of one person. This was reported by AHaber television.

According to preliminary data, there were 14 individuals inside the mine at the time of the incident. The body of one person has been recovered, as stated by the broadcaster.

Zonguldak province governor Osman Hacıbektaşoğlu declared that three mine workers are currently trapped under the debris.

“At the time of the incident, there were 280 workers in the mine, and only four were injured due to the collapse. One of them is seriously injured and has been rescued, and contact has been established with the other three trapped individuals,” the governor reported.

The collapse occurred in Zonguldak province, located in northern Turkey. Rescue teams and medical personnel are currently working at the site. The causes of the incident are still unknown.
