4-Year-Old Boy Missing in Gyumri; Father Searches for Hours

Today, on September 13, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Shirak province. Around 16:20, police officers Suren Yeghoyan and Tigran Amirakhanian from the Patrol Service of the Shirak provincial division noticed a boy standing in the rain wearing a short-sleeved shirt on Marmarashen highway in Gyumri.

The officers approached the child and found out that he did not remember the way home and was searching for his parents. They seated the boy in their patrol vehicle and asked him about the route he took to reach Marmarashen highway.

Eventually, after driving approximately 2.5 km from the location where the boy was found, a man stopped the patrol car and said that he had been looking for his underage son for several hours. When the officers showed the man the boy, it turned out that he was indeed the son the man had been searching for.

The source reports that the child was discovered by the officers in the rain, in a helpless state, while passersby showed indifference.
