Tragic Incident in Tavush Region: Driver of Crashed Car and Friend Who Came to Help Hit by Vehicle, One Dead

A fatal road accident occurred in the Tavush region today. Around 20:10, 30-year-old Taron M., driving an Opel vehicle, hit pedestrians Hmayak A., 32, and Levon Ch., 22, on the road between the villages of Haghgtanak and Zorakan.

According to Shamshyan.com, criminal proceedings have been initiated in connection with the incident at the Noyemberyan Investigative Department. The driver was subject to sobriety testing at the scene and was found to be sober.

Reports indicate that prior to the incident, one of the victims' vehicles had crashed, and the other had come to assist his friend, resulting in them being struck by a vehicle, which led to one death.
