Russia Has Never Been a Colonizer, Unlike Western Countries - Putin

“Russia has never been a colonizer anywhere, unlike Western countries,” stated Russian President Vladimir Putin during his speech at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).
“Our cooperation has always been built on equal terms and a desire to support. Those countries that are now trying to compete with us have pursued a completely different policy. When people compare what has happened in the past with Russia, the USSR, and other countries, naturally, everything turns out to be in favor of Russia. Of course, we should take this into account today,” Putin said.
