Rafik Harutyunyan Wins Small Bronze at Weightlifting World Championship

The 88th Weightlifting World Championship is underway in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, featuring athletes in the 81 kg weight category. Representing Armenia in this weight class is Rafik Harutyunyan from Gyumri.

Our athlete performed well in the snatch, successfully lifting weights of 155, 160, and 162 kilograms, securing a small bronze medal. He is currently trailing the leader by 2 kilograms and is just 1 kilogram behind the second-place athlete.
