Musk Responds Firmly to Betrayal Accusations

Elon Musk has stated that his decision to deactivate Starlink (satellite internet connection) in the Crimea region cannot be considered treason. He expressed this on his page on X.

“I am a US citizen and have only this passport. No matter what, I will fight for America and die there. The US Congress has not declared war on Russia. If anyone is a traitor, it is those who call me that,” Musk wrote.

It is noteworthy that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken responded to the incident of Starlink's disconnection in Crimea. Blinken expressed hope that this technology will remain fully available to Ukrainians. However, he could not say whether Elon Musk should be held accountable for his actions.

Earlier, it was reported that Elon Musk had secretly disabled the system to prevent Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian warships.
