Launch of Armenian-American Military Exercises Announced
On September 11, during the preparations for participation in international peacekeeping missions, the launch of the Armenian-American military exercise "Eagle Partner-2023" was announced at the "Zar" training center of the Ministry of Defense’s peacekeeping brigade. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.
The opening ceremony of the joint exercises was attended by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Deputy Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan.
During the exercise, operations aimed at stabilizing the conflict between parties will be simulated, focusing on the fulfillment of peacekeeping assignments.
The purpose of the exercises is to enhance the level of interoperability of the units participating in international peacekeeping missions, exchange best practices in management and tactical communication, and improve the preparedness of the Armenian unit for NATO's Operational Capability Concept planning evaluation.
