The death toll from the devastating earthquake in Morocco has reached 2681, according to Al Arabiya, citing the kingdom's interior ministry.

At least 2501 people have been injured. It is noteworthy that a 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck Morocco on the night of September 9. The epicenter of the tremors was located several dozen kilometers from Marrakech.

This earthquake is the strongest the country has experienced in the last 120 years.
