Citizen Steals Tiles in Vanadzor to Improve Father's Grave

Law enforcement officers in the Lori Province noticed a citizen loading basalt tiles into the trunk of an Opel car on Tigran Mets Street in Vanadzor. According to the police, the incident occurred on September 9 at around 21:30.
The individual told the officers that he intended to transport the tiles to a cemetery to improve his father's grave. He added that he was doing this without anyone's permission or knowledge.
“With a well-founded suspicion of committing a crime, a 27-year-old man, who is a resident of the same street, was arrested and taken to the Taroni division. The Opel has been moved to a secured area. Documents have been sent to the Lori Regional Investigative Department,” the police statement noted.
