Prosecutor Demands to Halt Trump Organization's Activities: Reason Revealed

Donald Trump may have inflated his wealth more than previously thought. This was stated by Letitia James, the Attorney General of New York State.

According to her announcement, over the last 10 years, Trump has allegedly "increased" his fortune by $1.9 to $3.6 billion, while earlier estimations ranged from $812 million to $2.23 billion in overvaluation. Reuters reported this.

Attorney General James asserted that evidence shows Trump, his associates, and partners have misrepresented the size of his assets and wealth to obtain better conditions for loans and insurance.

Based on the available evidence, it is quite possible to affirm that the former president's financial statements have been falsified without waiting for the trial scheduled for October 2 on this matter.

The prosecutor seeks a $250 million fine for Trump and demands to halt the operations of his family business, Trump Organization, along with those of his sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump.

Trump's lawyers have responded to the prosecutor's statements, asserting that Trump "undoubtedly is worth billions" and that "there has been no fraud, and there have been no victims." They have accused the prosecutor of attempting to “defame, degrade, and slander President Trump and his entire family for political gain by filing a politically motivated lawsuit.”

The defense team now has to prepare for four ongoing trials involving Trump, including one related to his alleged involvement in the January 6 Capitol riot in 2021.
