Macron Discusses Armenian-Azerbaijani Border Situation with Pashinyan
The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, has discussed the increasing tensions at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. This information has been reported by the AFP agency, citing the Élysée Palace.
The French president urged both parties to resolve all disagreements solely through diplomatic means.
It has been noted that the conversation occurred against the backdrop of alarming reports about the accumulation of military equipment and personnel by Azerbaijan near the Armenian border and in proximity to Nagorno-Karabakh.
Macron reaffirmed his commitment to focusing efforts on resolving the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh and achieving a fair and sustainable resolution to the conflict in accordance with international law and exclusively through diplomatic channels.
