Photos: Dairy Production Facility's Operations Suspended by Food Safety Authority

During inspections by the Aragatsotn regional center of the Food Safety Inspection Body, violations of sanitary-hygienic norms set by legal acts were identified at the dairy production facility owned by Surik Zarbabyan Vachik in the city of Ejmiatsin. This was reported by the Food Safety Inspection Body.

In particular:

• The structure and conditions of the production building did not ensure protection against air pollution, dirt accumulation, and mold formation;
• An artificial ventilation system was absent;
• The floors and walls of the production building were in an unsatisfactory state, resulting in improper cleaning and disinfection;
• The producer did not carry out pest control and rodent extermination processes;
• The transportation means for food products lacked a sanitary passport.

As a result of the decision from the head of the inspection body, the production activities of the dairy facility have been suspended, and a deadline has been set for addressing the identified violations.
