Lavrov: Attempts to Explode 'TurkStream' and 'Blue Stream' Gas Pipelines
Russia has information about attempts to sabotage the 'TurkStream' and 'Blue Stream' gas pipelines in the Black Sea, according to Sergey Lavrov, as reported by TASS agency.
"An attempt has been made to attack the warships that were guarding the routes of the 'TurkStream' and 'Blue Stream' gas pipelines. Patrols have begun in these areas of the Black Sea because there are reports that there are plans to blow them up just as the 'Nord Streams' were destroyed," Lavrov added.
The 'Blue Stream' and 'TurkStream' gas pipelines supply gas from Gazprom to Turkey through the Black Sea. The total length of 'Blue Stream' is 1,200 kilometers, with a capacity of 16 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The 'TurkStream' measures 1,100 kilometers in length, with a capacity of 15.75 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
