VIDEO: No store will remain in Armenia by January-February if Wildberries is not shut down, protest action

Entrepreneurs have been protesting early in the morning against the Armenian government, expressing their discontent with the operations of the Wildberries company. They accuse Wildberries of obstructing their trade.

According to the protesters, Wildberries is set to collapse their small businesses, which will subsequently lead to a crisis in the banking system. “We haven't sold 80% of our products for the school season. There’s no problem; let Wildberries come and buy our products. Before Wildberries appeared, we were functioning normally. Now there’s a fight among medium and small businesses; they are asking us for money, which we cannot provide because we aren’t selling. If Wildberries is still around during the winter season, there won’t be a single store left in Armenia by January-February,” said one of the entrepreneurs.

It should be noted that on September 5, a protest was held in front of the Armenian government, during which entrepreneurs demanded that the State Revenue Committee prohibit the possibility of ordering goods from Wildberries in the Russian variant. According to reports, the SRC has approached Wildberries to establish control and block purchases made through “indirect” means. Wildberries responded that there was a technical issue which has since been resolved.
