Trump Claims Biden Holds 20 Times More Classified Documents Than He Does

Former US President Donald Trump has accused President Joe Biden of holding boxes of classified documents, claiming that the number exceeds the boxes found at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida by 20 times. The Republican shared a video of his interview with radio host Hugh Hewitt on his website.

“Did you know that Biden has 20 times more boxes than I do? Did you know that he is holding classified information from when he was a senator?” Trump asserted, insisting that Biden has stolen documents. “What he has done is a crime,” the former president is convinced.

It was revealed in January that a batch of classified documents related to Biden was discovered at a Washington think tank building. These documents pertain to the time when Biden served as Vice President of the United States from 2009 to 2017. According to the White House, the documents were found by the president's lawyers in November 2022. They were located in an office Biden used from 2017 to 2019, prior to him announcing his candidacy for the presidential elections.

Later, additional classified documents were found at Biden's home in Wilmington, Delaware. In June, Trump was charged with improperly keeping classified documents. Trump describes the charges against him as purely a political move implemented by the current administration, led by Democrat Biden. The trial regarding the classified documents case for the former president is scheduled for May 2024.
