Russia Remains the Security Guarantor, Peskov Responds to Pashinyan's Statement on Azerbaijani Troop Buildup
Julya
Russia continues to be the security guarantor in the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict zone. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, in response to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's assertion that Azerbaijan is accumulating troops along the contact line in Artsakh and the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
“Russia continues to perform its functions as a security guarantor and is working diligently, consistently, and constructively with both Yerevan and Baku,” he said.
It is worth noting that earlier, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced during a cabinet meeting that Azerbaijan is amassing troops along the contact line in Artsakh and the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
