NATO Has No Evidence That Drone Debris in Romania Was a Russian Intentional Attack

NATO has no evidence that the debris of a drone found in Romania was the result of a deliberate attack by Moscow against Romania. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to EU parliamentarians.

“We have no information suggesting a deliberate attack by Russia, and we are awaiting the results of the ongoing investigation,” he said.

Stoltenberg also stressed that Russian airstrikes near NATO's borders pose a significant threat.

It is recalled that earlier, according to a representative of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Russia launched 32 drones towards Ukraine, and several drones fell and exploded on Romanian territory. Following the announcement, the Romanian Defense Ministry denied Kyiv's claims regarding the crash of Russian drones on its territory. The President of Romania also commented, stating, “If it is confirmed that this is a Russian drone, then this situation would be completely unacceptable.”
