Large Influx of Illegal Immigrants Could Destroy New York, Mayor Says
The large influx of illegal immigrants could destroy New York City, and thus the government needs to make more efforts to resolve the immigration crisis, said Mayor Eric Adams.
"This issue will ruin New York. Ten thousand migrants arrive in the city every month. People from all over the world have decided to gather, cross the southern border of the United States, and come to New York," The Hill quoted Adams as saying.
He called on American authorities to provide greater support to curb the flow of illegal immigrants and emphasized that "real policy change is necessary" to change the situation.
"As we say every month, only more support from state and federal partners and real policy changes in Washington will really help solve this crisis," the New York mayor stated.
