Hajiyev: Azerbaijan's Cooperation with Israel Is Not Directed Against Any Country
The foreign policy of Azerbaijan is independent, and its cooperation with Israel is not directed against any country. This was stated by Hikmet Hajiyev, the assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, in an interview with the Israeli i24NEWS television channel.
According to him, although there are disagreements with Iran, Azerbaijan strives to resolve them through diplomatic means and to open new avenues for cooperation.
Hajiyev added that Azerbaijan has contributed to the reconciliation between Israel and Turkey, emphasizing that Baku proposes to strengthen trilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Israel.
"Azerbaijan is proud of its bilateral relations with Israel, especially in the field of military-technical cooperation," Hajiyev said.
