Elon Musk States Starlink Was Not Created for Drone Operations
Starlink satellite internet was created for watching series, not for directing drones. This was stated by American entrepreneur Elon Musk in his biography, excerpts of which were quoted by CNN, according to Ria.ru.
“How did I end up in this war? Starlink was not designed for wars. It was created so that people could watch Netflix, relax, study remotely, and do good peaceful things, rather than for drone strikes,” Musk noted.
The biography authored by Walter Isaacson is set to be released on September 12. Isaacson has previously written biographies of Apple founder Steve Jobs and Albert Einstein.
It is worth mentioning that in February, Musk stated he would not allow the use of Starlink satellites in escalating conflicts that could lead to a Third World War. Starlink is a satellite network designed to provide broadband internet access from any point on the planet. Currently, there are approximately 4,200 Starlink satellites in orbit.
