Azerbaijan Transfers Individuals to Armenian Border Guards

The National Security Service of Armenia reports that on September 7, 2023, at the Hakar Bridge section of the state border between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani side transferred residents of Nagorno-Karabakh to the Armenian border guards. The transferred individuals are Alen Nelson Sarkisyan (born July 5, 2001), Levon Zhiryair Grigoryan (born May 17, 2003), and Vahe Janbulati Hovsepyan (born June 12, 2003).

These individuals were detained by Azerbaijani border guards on August 28, 2023, while attempting to travel from Nagorno-Karabakh to the Republic of Armenia.
