Citizen Attempts Self-Immolation in Armavir

On September 6, at 09:17, the National Crisis Management Center received information that a citizen was threatening to self-immolate in the central square of Armavir city in the Armavir province.

A firefighting and rescue team from the regional emergency management department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was dispatched to the scene.

With the joint efforts of the rescuers and police officers, the self-immolation attempt by S. Sh. was prevented. The individual was subsequently transported to the Armavir police department.
