Children Who Fall Victim in Wars Are Our Collective Failure, Says Anna Hakobyan in Kyiv

I am in Kyiv participating in the Third Summit of First Ladies and Spouses. This was mentioned by Anna Hakobyan, the wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia, on Facebook.

The day began with a visit to an exhibition titled 'Martyred Children,' where we honored the memory of children who lost their lives in this war. As I stated in my speech at the 'Women Political Leaders 2023' summit in Brussels this June, since February 24, 2022, about 500 children have died in Ukraine. Today we learned that the youngest among them was only 2 days old, and the oldest was 17 years old. The children who die in wars are a failure for all of us adults: an unforgivable, irreparable, and irreversible failure,” wrote the Prime Minister's wife.

Earlier, we reported that Anna Hakobyan, the wife of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, is attending the annual summit of 'First Ladies and Spouses' in Kyiv on September 6.
