VIDEO: Terrorist Stabs Guard Near Hatti Gate in Jerusalem

On the night of September 5, the police reported an attempted terrorist attack in the Old City of Jerusalem. A 44-year-old terrorist from Jenin attempted to stab a guard stationed at the Hatti Gate.

According to police information, the attack attempt occurred at 21:05. "The terrorist, who concealed her face with a hijab, pulled out a knife and tried to strike the man. He was unharmed as he was wearing a bulletproof vest. The young man immediately responded and threw the terrorist to the ground, neutralizing her," the police stated.

After the arrest, the Palestinian woman was interrogated. "The terrorist's knife was found on site, and there were no casualties during the attack," the police reported.

The border police fighter who was attacked recounted the incident: "While on duty in the Old City, a woman attacked me and attempted to stab me multiple times with a knife. I immediately realized she was a terrorist. However, I did not open fire as there were people around. Instead, I pushed her and threw her to the ground. She dropped the knife, and there was no longer a threat. After that, the woman was taken into custody and sent for interrogation. Thanks to the bulletproof vest, I was not harmed."
