VIDEO. Unusually Strong Hailstorm Hits Georgia's Kakheti Region

An unusually strong hailstorm and wind have damaged vineyards and agricultural lands in Georgia's Kakheti region.

Roofing of houses and vehicles have also been affected. A section of the population is without electricity supply.

Previously, it was reported that heavy rains flooded the streets of Tbilisi and knocked down trees, obstructing traffic. Both major avenues and narrow streets suffered from the flooding. The rain lasted for several hours, damaging electricity transmission lines in certain parts of the city.
