Romania Denies Claims of Russian Drones Falling on Its Territory
The Romanian Ministry of Defense has «categorically» denied the official statement from Kyiv claiming that Russian drones fell and exploded on Romanian territory early this morning.
Romania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs specifically stated that the Russian attack «did not pose direct threats to the national territories or territorial waters of Romania».
The diplomatic office of Romania, a NATO member bordering Ukraine, also added that measures have been taken to strengthen the defense of the country’s eastern flank.
It is worth noting that earlier, a representative of Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Russia launched 32 drones towards Ukraine, with several UAVs reportedly falling and exploding in Romanian territory.
