High Fire Hazard Situation Expected as Temperatures Rise
From September 4 to 9, a high fire hazard situation is anticipated in the pre-mountain regions of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor, the Ararat plain, the valleys of Syunik, and in Yerevan.
In Yerevan, dry weather is expected on September 4 and 9 during the day, with no precipitation forecasted from September 5 to 8. However, there may be short-term rain and thunderstorms in certain areas of the city on the night of September 9.
Across the republic, dry weather is also expected during the daytime on September 4, with no precipitation on the 5th and 6th. From September 7 to 9, isolated regions may experience short-term rain and thunderstorms, with fog possible in some areas.
The wind will be southwestern at 2-4 m/s, and may strengthen to 17-20 m/s during thunderstorms.
Daytime temperatures are expected to gradually increase on September 4-5 by 2-3 degrees, and by 5-7 degrees in Lori, Tavush, Syunik, and Artsakh.
