Photo: Bread to be Sold with Coupons in Stepanakert Starting September 5

Starting September 5, bread sales in the city of Stepanakert will be conducted using coupons, with the distribution of these coupons beginning on September 4. This was announced by the Ministry of Social Development and Migration of Nagorno-Karabakh.

To obtain a coupon, individuals must present original identification documents along with public service number at designated coupon distribution points, which will operate from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, considering the schedule for electricity outages at each distribution point's address.

To avoid long queues, it is preferable for one person from each family to bring original identification documents for all family members (a birth certificate or passport for minors) and their public service numbers.

The locations of coupon distribution points, the days for coupon distribution, and the hours of electricity outages on those days are provided below. Since the coupons are numbered, the Ministry of Social Development and Migration will inform the public daily about which numbered coupon will be used for bread sales on that and the following day.

Information regarding the bread sales points will be communicated separately. Each person will be able to purchase half a loaf of bread (approximately 200 grams),” the announcement stated.

Earlier, it was reported that on September 4 and 5, educational activities in several schools in Stepanakert will be suspended due to the process of obtaining coupons for bread sales.
