India to Conduct 11-Day Military Exercises Along China and Pakistan Borders
The Indian Air Force will conduct 11-day military exercises along the borders with China and Pakistan, titled 'Trishul'. This has been reported by Business Standard, citing sources from the defense ministry.
The exercises are set to commence on September 4. According to the publication's source, 'This will be one of the largest aerial exercises conducted by the Indian Air Force in recent times.'
Organized by the Western Air Command of the Indian Air Force, the purpose of the exercises is to assess the combat readiness of the air forces and evaluate various operational aspects. It has been reported that all key platforms of the Western Air Command as well as assets from other commands will be deployed.
