Azerbaijan Steadily Marches Towards War: Karen Hovhannisyan

Military expert Karen Hovhannisyan writes on his Facebook page:

“Azerbaijan is steadily marching towards war. I will not stop repeating that if we act according to the rules of war, we will confidently have results that could be a surprise for Azerbaijan. We should not play by Azerbaijan’s rules, nor chase after the solutions to the problems they have created; rather, we ought to direct those created problems against them and seek to impose sanctions at the highest level. This should be emphasized in foreign policy, while domestically we must focus exclusively on one direction. Given that Azerbaijan poses a short-term threat and could engage in military aggression, we must direct all our resources towards defense industry and the military.”

“This issue has only one solution, and that solution is acceptable both internationally and by mediators and even the enemy. That solution is through strength. In all other cases, three years have been enough to demonstrate how incapable they are, how insincere and ineffective their soft cushion effect is. In short, we must continue our struggle, which I believe will be more difficult, but with a good outcome.”
