‘Charles Michel, you and your puppet Nikol can no longer impose new concessions on the Armenian people,’ says Sagatelian

Today, the heroic people of Artsakh are demonstrating unprecedented resistance. This was stated by Ishkhan Sagatelian, a member of the Armenian Parliament and a member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, during his speech at an opposition rally in Liberty Square.

Addressing the people of Artsakh, he said they are writing one of the brightest pages of the modern history of the Armenian people with their resilience, noting that every resident of Artsakh defends every village and city of Armenia with their resistance.

“Artsakh is the guarantor of Armenia's security, and hence this struggle is not only that of the people of Artsakh, but of the entire Armenian nation. From this square, we express our full support and solidarity with the struggle of Artsakh and its people,” Sagatelian stated.

He directed his words to the international community and stakeholders, first thanking all those who have given a clear assessment of Azerbaijan's actions and condemning those who apply double standards and refuse to adhere to the principles they themselves have declared.

“Charles Michel says it is time for bold compromises, referring to yesterday's escalation by Azerbaijan. Mr. Michel, we have no room for concessions anymore; we have things to gain. The enemy is on the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, our homeland is occupied by Azerbaijan and is under blockade, and the Armenian people can no longer concede. You and your puppet Nikol can no longer impose new concessions on the Armenian people under the threat of Azerbaijan's force. All mediators and international actors must clearly understand that the person speaking on behalf of Armenia does not represent the Armenian people, and any agreements reached with him are null and void. Pashinyan has no legitimate right under the constitutional law, the Constitution, or the Declaration of Independence to recognize Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan. Artsakh will never be part of Azerbaijan,” he said.
