Video: Artsakh Residents Prevent Peacekeepers' Trucks from Moving Towards Aghdam

Today, Russian peacekeepers' trucks attempted to move towards Aghdam, but local residents did not allow them to proceed.

It should be noted that residents of the Askeran region of Artsakh have blocked the Askeran-Aghdam road near a police checkpoint since yesterday, preventing the entrance of goods sent by the Azerbaijani side through the Red Cross. The locals have set up tents and are keeping watch.

On the road from Aghdam to Stepanakert, Russian peacekeepers have placed barbed wire and concrete barriers between Red Cross workers and the residents of Artsakh.

Earlier, we reported that two trucks loaded with 40 tons of flour from Baku had reached Akna (Aghdam). According to Novruz Aslan, the president of the Azerbaijani Red Cross company that organized the transportation, volunteers have been mobilized to deliver the humanitarian cargo to the location. They had stopped to set up tents and were waiting for the peacekeepers to allow them to proceed.

It is important to mention that the authorities in Artsakh have already stated that this action has not been coordinated with them in any way.
