Investigation Concludes into Tragic Incident that Claimed Lives of 15 Soldiers

The investigation into the tragic fire that broke out in the military barracks in the village of Azat on January 19, which claimed the lives of 15 soldiers, has ended. This information was confirmed in a conversation with the daily "Zhoghovurd" by the lawyer of the detained officer, Hovsep Sargsyan, representing Yeghishe Hakobyan.

According to the investigative body, the officer had poured gasoline into the heater, and the fire unexpectedly intensified, leading to the tragic incident.

It is worth recalling that the incident occurred on January 19 of this year in the military barracks, resulting in the deaths of 15 servicemen. Four individuals are currently facing charges in this case.
