Surten Papikyan Ready to Meet Parents of Missing Soldiers from the 'Chemists' Military Unit

The Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia, Arman Sargsyan, has conveyed the readiness of the Defense Minister to meet with the parents of missing soldiers from the 'Chemists' military unit in the near future, said Defense Ministry spokesperson Aram Torosyan, commenting on the parents' entry into the Defense Ministry building demanding a meeting with Minister Surten Papikyan.

"The parents have met with Deputy Defense Minister Arman Sargsyan, and a meeting with the head of the Psychological Support Department is currently underway. The Deputy Minister has informed the parents about the Defense Minister's readiness to have meetings with them soon," Torosyan stated.

Earlier, it was reported that the parents of soldiers who went missing during the 44-day war from the 'Chemists' military unit plan to spend the night at the Ministry of Defense. It should be noted that the parents regularly organize protests demanding meetings with high-ranking officials.
