Parents of Missing Soldiers from Echmiadzin's 'Chemists' Unit to Spend Night at Ministry of Defense

Parents of soldiers from the Echmiadzin 'Chemists' unit, who went to war during the 44-day conflict and are still considered missing, will spend the night at the Ministry of Defense. This was stated by the parent of a missing soldier, Karine Manavazyan, in an interview with Sputnik Armenia.

“We were called here for a meeting with Minister Suren Papikyan. We have been waiting for this meeting since May 2. We have been here since 11:00 AM, and it turns out that the minister is not on site and we will be received by his deputy Arman Sargsyan. We spoke with him for about 2 hours, but did not receive any answers to our questions. He says, 'We do not have accurate information on where your children are.' We will not leave here until the minister receives us,” said Manavazyan.

According to her, they are being persuaded to leave the building, but that is not going to happen.

It should be noted that the parents regularly hold protest actions and demand meetings with high-ranking officials.
