Julya
A rotavirus outbreak has been reported in Bodrum, Turkey, a popular destination for numerous vacationers. This has been reported by the Telegram channel Readovka.
Locals are connecting this outbreak to the city’s sewage problems. Both tourists and residents are falling ill.
The water crisis in Bodrum has been ongoing for nearly a month. There are also issues with sewage, as pathogenic bacteria are contaminating the drinking water. Bottled water has not been a solution for residents who are using tap water for drinking, cooking, washing hands, and cleaning fruits and vegetables.
