If This Truly is Humanitarian Aid, Why Not Send It via the Red Cross? Beglaryan

The Aliyev regime, having blockaded the people of Artsakh for 261 days and subjected them to complete conditions of siege for 77 days, has decided to carry out yet another cheap propaganda move. This was stated by former Human Rights Defender of Artsakh Artak Beglaryan on his social media page.

They waited until the critical shortage of flour, caused by their genocidal policies, reached a point where thousands of families have no bread at all. Only after that did they send flour by truck to Aghdam (Akn) under the guise of providing 'assistance' to the people of Artsakh.

Their theatrical and provocative vehicles are within their controlled territory and cannot pass through the Artsakh checkpoint.

Several questions for the authors of this 'super humanitarian' idea:

  1. If you are so worried about the food shortage in Artsakh, why have you not opened the Berdzor (Lachin) corridor all this time and allowed the entry of humanitarian cargo that has been piling up near the corridor checkpoint since July 26?
  2. Why have you suddenly become 'humanitarian' now, when people have been suffering and even dying for weeks due to the severe shortage of food and other vital goods caused by you?
  3. If this is indeed humanitarian aid, why have you not sent it through the International Red Cross, but instead involved your own Red Crescent, thus tarnishing the neutral and apolitical reputation of that organization?
  4. Have you checked with international laboratories whether the Azerbaijanis involved in the production and supply chain of flour have mixed toxic substances with the flour, in line with the spirit of the hatred and genocide policies you have encouraged?
  5. Have you asked your 'esteemed' friends in the Israeli government or the advisors of this genocide scenario what they would do if they found themselves in a Nazi concentration camp, and after 261 days, or even 77 days of persecution, were suddenly offered a lavish dinner by Hitler under the title of 'humanitarian'?
  6. Has it crossed your 'humanitarian' minds to ask the recipient of the 'aid' about their needs and positions, as is standard practice in the entire humanitarian world?
  7. Could it be that your scriptwriters had advised you to familiarize yourselves in advance with the humanitarian principles of international law—humanity, neutrality, impartiality, and independence, which are enshrined in UN General Assembly resolutions 46/182 and 58/114? If so, can you tell me which of those four principles aligns with your cheap show?
